$3,000,000
501 San Rafael Avenue is a church building designed by the esteemed local architect Charles Warren Callister in 1951. Constructed in 1952 using vernacular materials, the building is a classic example of mid-century design with features that accentuate the past and the future of the church for which it was commissioned. Made of redwood, Douglas fir, concrete and stained glass formed in the shape that is reminiscent of the nautical character of Belvedere Island and the log cabin heritage of the early congregation this building.
