Mother's Day Market Update

To my beautiful, vibrant, and very witty mother, Barbara Lake, and to all mothers: A celebration of the influence of mothers. I hope that you all have a wonderful, happy and healthy Mother’s Day this year.

The Marin market can be summarized in one word: Confusing. Some homes are selling well over asking and continuing to break records, while others are slow to sell and feeling the effects of protracted higher interest rates.  If you look at the stats below, many will consider this a normalized market in Marin with a balance between buyer’s and seller’s market. Days on market have increased as homes are taking longer to sell. However, I am successfully selling homes every single week right now with sellers who price their homes in alignment with data for recent closings, and are also willing to do as much pre-listing prep as warranted.
