March 2024: The Marin Market
The Marin Market
Happy Spring 2024! The Marin County residential market remains robust for homes that are both prepped for the market AND priced “right”. Unless sellers are committed to both, homes are languishing and or seeing price reductions. Volume is still well below what it was in 2021 due to successive rate hikes by the Fed starting in early May of 2022. However, I believe that both buyers and sellers have swallowed the reality of a higher rate market and are making moves again. There are not significant data changes in year over year stats per below. Please take a look at the grave importance of prepping your home for the market with two short videos below. As always, I am more than happy to answer any questions you might have about the Marin or Aspen markets.
